Mandy reached out to me recently after her sweet 13 year old, Penny, had a health scare. She had been meaning to book a session with Penny for a while but she realized, after the health scare, that she may be on borrowed time with Penny and days slip by faster than we realize at times. They’ve been through it all together and Penny is her absolute whole heart. Just like any other mama, she’s always the one behind the camera so I was sure to capture plenty of beautiful heartfelt moments between the two.

Every single time I photograph fur babies there’s always the inevitable moment when I get choked up behind my camera because HOW do we even deserve these sweet little fur angels??
